Atlanta is offering Georgia and its tourists a number of new attractions. The newest being The Georgia Aquarium, which will occupy more than more than 400,000 square feet, and will be 12-and-a-half times larger than Chattanooga’s aquarium. In addition, just north of the aquarium, a new 138-acre urban village called Atlantic Station is rising from the ground. The new Media SIG will discuss these how these changes in Atlanta will impact the city, and answer the question everybody is asking, “How will these state-of-the-art projects be advertised and marketed?”
Incoming AMA president Richard Warner will moderate the discussion, where topics include how aggressive techniques, including Web, e-mail, and guerilla marketing will be used to raise awareness and sales.
