Come join the San Francisco Chapter of the Northern California Human Resources Association on Wednesday, June 16th, for “Disability: The Last Piece of the Diversity Mosaic”. The program will be held at the NCHRA Training Center, 425 California Street, Suite 500 in San Francisco. It will start at 5:30PM and conclude at 7:00PM.
This event is targeted to HR professionals who play a key role in the hiring and management of employees with disabilities. A concise overview of disability and work will be presented, along with information on why people with disabilities are a seriously untapped resource. The speaker is Gary Karp, a trainer, author, and public speaker who has worked in the disability arena since publication in 1999 of his first book, “Life on Wheels: For the Active Wheelchair User”.
