This workshop will present an overview of the NIST Security Configuration Checklists Program, a public-private collaboration, for the purposes of assisting software vendors in creating security configuration checklists and learning how to participate in the NIST program.
The workshop will consist of 1/2 day of presentations and panel discussions that will focus on the following:
* Why checklist configurations are important for IT product customers to help optimize the security of their products and work environments, * How checklists can reduce service-related costs to IT product vendors, * How checklists will be used within the US Federal Government and DHS, * And more.
