The workshop is called Healing Oppression's Wounds. It's part of a larger leadership and personal development workshop series called "Warriors and Healers."
The February seminar is for anyone interested in doing anything of significance with and for African people. Such action will bring us face to face with oppression and "internalized oppression." Unfortunately, no school, university or job has taught us how to navigate, combat, and heal oppression or internalized oppression.
The goal is for us to know our and our people's wounded ness and to develop some African-Centered skills to facilitate healthy challenging and healing.
The workshops are small. 10-20 people. Employing both head and heart, it is very interactive. We work to make it a safe place to do deep work and skill building.
