Southern Spirit Alliance (SSA) celebrates Black History Month in a big way by bringing together thousands of students-athletes from historically black colleges and national K-12 All-star Programs to the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) for the 2005 Black College & All-star National Cheer & Dance Championships on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 12:00 noon. “For over a decade, the Black College & All-star National Championships (BCANC) has been recognized as a signature event in Atlanta during black history month and what better way to celebrate our history!” says Terry Jones, President of SSA. BCANC extravaganza is open to the general public. Admission is $14 for adults, $12 for teens and $8 for children under-12. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Tsunami Relief Fund. Tickets are available on-site at the GICC and all Ticketmaster locations.
