The Leopard Tale is a lively account of survival as experienced by villagers and the animal kingdom in the jungles of Africa. Choreographed by Ballethnic Co-Founder Waverly Lucas, The Leopard Tale is brought to life with energetic and poised ballet technique blended with spirited African dance. An Original Act I score by L. Gerard Reid and live African drumming accompanied by traditional African songs punctuate this ballet as Ballethnic dancers express the majesty and fragility of the leopard and those within its domain. Paintings inspired by The Leopard Tale and created by artist Raymond Cody will be on exhibit at the Ferst Center during the run of the production. General admission: $22-$29. VIP tickets are $52 and include reserved seating at the performance on Friday, March 18 and admittance to the post performance reception that same evening.
