Info:
Building strong communities requires neighborhood residents to work together. Join Hands On Atlanta and ACORN Housing to learn the basics of home ownership and neighborhood involvement. During this session, participants will gain a greater knowledge of home buying and learn about community-based volunteer projects and neighborhood coalitions at work in their prospective communities. ACORN is a national non-profit that has been providing free housing counseling to low/moderate income and minority homebuyers since 1986. ACORN Housing has opened HUD-certified, Fannie Mae-approved housing counseling offices across the United States.
