Admission is free and Jihad, dubbed the Kanye West, of the literary world, will be on hand to discuss his book, Baby Girl, as guests enjoy a festive atmosphere complete with food, drinks and live music. In conjunction with his non-profit, the Jihad Uhuru Wake Up Everybody Foundation, the event will also serve as a fundraiser for a family displaced by Hurricane Katrina. 100% of the proceeds from donations and the sale of books that evening will aide the family. The co-host for this unique literary event is Georgia Congresswoman, Cynthia McKinney. Prominent authors, including Reshonda Tate Billingsley, Victoria Christopher Murray and Travis Hunter are confirmed to attend.
