Mark your calendars for the Overflow Project's first annual fundraising gala! Our non-profit organization is designed to help 14-18 year olds who are either orphans or at-risk youth in need of help for to successfully transition to the adult world. The mission of the program is to provide them with the practical skills they will need to flourish, and to motivate them to fulfill their aspirations. To that end, the participants of the program will be assigned to mentors and will also receive training in career and educational development, domestic skills, financial management, and technology.
The program will officially kick off with a Black Tie Fundraiser on February 3, 2006. The event will include a 4-course meal, silent fine art auction, live performances, and a keynote speaker. Tickets are $150 per person or $1500 for a table. Individuals who purchase a table will be listed as sponsors in the gala program and on the organization’s website at www.overflowproject.org.
