Info:
For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow Is Enuf is an expression of the colored girl’s experiences and encounters as she searches for herself. The piece is performed by seven women representing different colors of "girls" - brown, red, yellow, orange, blue, purple, and green. Each color of the rainbow represents a piece of the colored girl – the pieces that define her existence. The words are powerful and touch every emotion as she shares her rainbow.
