The only flamenco festival to showcase top U.S. flamenco performers comes to Los Angeles.
Opening night features Omayra Amaya (grandniece of Carmen Amaya) and her dance company in "La Sobremesa", preceded by Briseyda Zarate's "Flamenca". San Francisco Bay Area artist La Tania headlines closing night in "Aires de La Bahia", with support from Los Angeles-based artists Jose Tanaka's Soniquete Flamenco and respected guitar soloist Adam del Monte. Additional L.A. talent to include singer Jesus Montoya, guitarists Gabriel Osuna and Kai Narezo, and dancer Mizuho Sato.
Sangria restaurant in Hermosa Beach will host a VIP Meet-and-Greet Reception Saturday night where fans will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with the Festival artists over delicious food and drink.
The Reception will also feature live entertainment, dancing and a sevillana dance contest.
Win a Cordoba guitar signed by the Gipsy Kings and a year's supply of La Bella strings! Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on a Grand Prize package: a Cordoba flamenco guitar signed by the members of the Gipsy Kings and a year's supply of classical guitar strings courtesy of La Bella strings. The items will be auctioned to help raise funds for the Festival's nonprofit partner Guitars In The Classroom.
