The 7th Annual Summer Jazz Series at Villa Christina has become a steadfast summer tradition.
Join us on Sunday, June 13th and July 25th, 2010 for our live, FREE, Family Friendly Concert, that showcases the hottest artists in classic and contemporary jazz. The doors open at 4:00 pm and the concert begins at 5:30 PM and ends at 8:00 PM and is staged outdoors on the beautiful grounds of Villa Christina, or in the grand ballroom in the case of rain. Audiences will enjoy cool jazz while sipping cold, summer beverages and dining on fantastic food, all prepared by our award winning staff. (No Coolers Please)
SUNDAY JUNE 13, Reggie Hines Prolific saxophonist Reggie Hines, accompanied by his band, will play with soul and swagger for one incredible show. A riveting entertainer, Reggie Hines has performed with Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross and the O'Jays. Audiences of all ages will love Reggie's fantastic finesse, extensive playlist and excitement on stage.
SUNDAY JULY 25, Tabitha King Tabitha has performed with such greats as Keith Washington, Outkast, Goodie Mob, Usher, Regina Belle, Ann Nesby, Boys II Men, Ollie Woodson, and The Whispers. She also performed the National Anthem at several NBA games and starred as “Starr Miller” in the hit stage play “Beauty Shop 2009” featuring Mr. Johnny Gill. Tabitha has been requested by Mr. Frankie Beverly to be his opening act at The Atlanta Civic Center, The Hilton, Las Vegas and the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City and Yokohama, Japan. Tabitha King’s soulful, jazzy sound has made her one of the most sought-after female vocalists in Atlanta and surrounding areas.
