Visual Acuity: Monocular vision must be at least 20/30 (Snellen) corrected in each eye and not worse than 20/100 (Snellen) uncorrected in either eye. Binocular vision must be at least 20/20 (Snellen) corrected. Officers/Applicants whose uncorrected vision is worse than 20/100 must wear soft contact lenses to meet the corrected vision requirement. Color Vision: Officers/Applicants must be able to distinguish red, green, blue, and yellow, as determined by the HRR Test, 4th Edition. Red or green deficiencies may be acceptable, providing the applicant can read at least nine of the first 13 plates of the Ishihara Test. Officers/Applicants who fail to meet the color vision standard may meet this standard by demonstrating they can correctly discriminate colors via a field test conducted by the employer as approved by the examining physician/surgeon. Depth Perception: Random Stereo Test equal to 60 seconds of arc or better. Peripheral Vision: Visual Field Performance must be 140 degrees in the horizontal meridian combined. Hearing Acuity: Officer/Applicants must have no average hearing loss greater than 25 (db) at the 500, 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000-Hertz levels in either ear with no single loss in excess of 40 db. Amplification devices may be used to meet the above hearing requirements. WORKING CONDITIONS Duties are performed in a secured adult correctional facility involving contact with inmates. Exposure to anger, harassing and foul language from those being held for booking should be expected in some cases. WORK SCHEDULE Jail Division: Six 12 hour shifts and one 8 hour shift per two week pay period (POA contract language cites exceptions to this schedule.) Shift schedules are determined by seniority and the Peace Officer's Association Collective Bargaining Agreement . Clackamas County's Department of Human Resources (HR) is seeking a highly productive and skilled Executive Assistant with experience handling complex and confidential personnel issues in support of executive-level management positions; conducting confidential surveys and monitoring special projects on behalf of executive management using a variety of complex database systems and performing confidential tasks related to collective bargaining and workplace discrimination and harassment complaints. This position will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and provides administrative support to both the Director of Human Resources and the Deputy Director of Human Resources. In addition, this position works closely with the entire Human Resources Management team to provide advanced administrative support in a variety of Human Resources functions. The HR Department provides County-side human resources services to County departments and employees, including recruitment and selection, personnel ordinance and policy administration, position classification and compensation, organizational development, employee training and development, benefits administration, risk management, workers compensation, liability and casualty claims management, human resources information systems, labor and employee relations and collective bargaining to over 2,500 employees, both represented and non-represented. The Executive Assistant acts as the first point of contact and key resource for internal and external customers as well as represents/communicates on behalf of the HR executive management team. The Executive Assistant performs a variety of complex, highly sensitive, and confidential administrative support tasks for the HR executive-level management team related to collective bargaining, processing of employee grievances and disciplinary documentation; compiles, analyzes, and summarizes data for confidential, sensitive, and special projects and reports; attends bargaining sessions and maintains written records; assists in budget preparation and control; assist Internal Complaint Coordinator with recording employee discrimination and harassment complaints; back-up Administrative Team Supervisor, maintain the HR Performance Strategic Business Plan to ensure conformance with immediate and long-range fiscal and operating goals; and supervise the administrative team during scheduled leave of the Administrative Supervisor. Represent and advocate for all departments in venue calendar meetings. Line produce festivals, concerts, and events. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Internal team management, talent procurement, artist advance, contracting, coordinating production elements, hiring production staff, and other duties as needed per event. Liaise between outside organizations and internal departments including marketing, digital, PR, government relations, and development. Create and manage budgets for large-scale projects. Report out on performance/event/initiative results. Program design and creation. Work with Directors and support staff to design and develop thematic ideas, research and evaluate trends and new programming ideas. Review institutional data to direct programming. Attends meetings in any of the Director’s absence, as requested, to ensure that action items are advanced. Other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications 6+ years experience in commercial music presenting and/or performing arts management. 3+ years experience managing and supervising group(s) along with strong leadership skills. Bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration or Business Management or equivalent experience. Ability to create and maintain clear channels of communication with all members and constituents.
