Description	In 1984 Amber, the owner of Paddy’s Pub, moved from Michigan to Georgia. In 1986 Amber opened her first business, an English pub called “Kings Head”. Over the years, Amber has owned several restaurants such as Frankie’s Italian on Canton Road. Paddy’s pub and Eatery was a long time dream of Amber's and was established on December 3rd, 2009 in honor of her mother. Amber’s mum was called Paddy and she was born on December 3rd. Her mom who was born in Stamford, England came over on the Queen Mary as a war bride in 1946. Her grandfather, her mum’s dad, was from Cork County, Ireland. Amber has been to England numerous times as most of her relatives still live there. She traveled extensively in Ireland, visiting numerous Pubs before she opened Paddy’s. Many of her English and Irish fare come from her mother’s original recipes and are the food that Amber and her ten other brothers and sisters grew up on. For example the traditional Irish breakfast consists of eggs your way, rashers, bangers, black and white pudding, sautéed mushrooms and your choice of homemade baked beans or roasted tomato, and is served with homemade Irish soda bread. Also, her traditional Sunday Dinner consists of thinly sliced roastbeef, Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes, and mashed potatoes topped with brown gravy and served with vegetable medley. All items on the menu are made with the freshest of ingredients. The corned beef is cooked for three and a half hours so that it comes out so tender you can cut it with a fork and the shepherd’s pie is made the traditional way with lamb. The ambience in Paddy’s is very much like it is in Ireland. It is a non-smoking establishment welcoming guests of all ages from young children, to teens, and adults. The environment and mood encourages guests to walk around and visit with one another like it is done in a pub in Ireland. All the walls, including the entranceway are covered with many Irish and English artifacts and newsprint items as well as original pictures from Ireland. Amber encourages all of her guests to walk about the pub and look at all the interesting items and enjoy them as much as she does. Guests of Paddy’s can expect to enjoy live music and participate in the many fundraisers that Paddy’s has been known to host such as Pennies with Purpose and Heathers Legacy. Paddy’s is known for its awesome food, fun and drink specials and remember “When you visit Paddy’s you always take a little Irish with you.”
