Description	Butte is the capital of Silver Bow County, Montana, USA. In 1977, the town and county government merged into Butte-Silver Bow's single body. The city is 718 square miles, and according to the 2010 census, it has 33,503 inhabitants, which makes it the fifth largest town in Montana. After this tragedy, the City Council of Butte passed a law forcing all new structures in the center (known as "Uptown Butte") to be made from brick or stone, most of which are still there today and which allow Butte to become a beautiful and historic community.
