Where is the event held? Olde Town Arvada, on Grandview Avenue between Olde Wadsworth Boulevard and Upham Street.
What can we bring? Small folding chairs. Cameras are fine.
What should we leave at home? Bottles, cans, coolers and Pets.
Will there be water, pop, beer and loads of incredibly tasty food available? Yes!
How much will Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver receive from this event? Last year we raised $20,000. The goal for 2013 is a donation of $30,000 to Habitat.
Who is responsible for the event? The Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Foundation and The Duke Street Kings are responsible for coordinating the nonprofit event.
How many bands will perform? 18 bands will perform throughout the day on three separate stages. Rain or shine!
How much are tickets for this rain or shine event? $10. Children under 12 are free!
How did this fundraiser get started? The Duke Street Kings, a Denver-area blues and rock band, launched the event in Olde Town Arvada's Note bar and restaurant to help out the Denver Habitat for Humanity group.
