The Yerba Buena Community Benefit District's Arts and Dialogue series presents a free outdoor concert with award-winning acoustic rock and funk artist Curt Yagi and the People Standing Behind Me, Thursday, May 23 at 6 p.m. at Annie Alley in downtown San Francisco. Yagi was voted Best of the Bay Singer Songwriter by the Bay Guardian and Former Senior Editor of Rolling Stone Ben Fong-Torres wrote, "This is one excellent singer and songwriter." Hit songs like "Sweep Me" from the "Close My Eyes" album showcase Yagi's rich vocals and the band's engaging stage presence.
The free concert is part of a weeklong celebration of events and beautification projects sponsored by SPUR and YBCBD at Annie Alley. Admission is free. Space is limited. This evening is part of the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District's exciting Yerba Buena Arts and Dialogue series of discussions, performance and workshops held in the Yerba Buena neighborhood.
