If you are a man who feels isolated or disconnected, or like there is no one with whom you can share your innermost thoughts and concerns, this group may be able to help you.

This group provides a safe place to share your story with other men who may have had very similar experiences or concerns, and to get their support. The group provides a unique opportunity to find acceptance from other men so seldom available in our culture.

As the therapist, I hold the group in a way that is designed to maintain a strong sense of safety for all the members, so you can feel comfortable sharing whatever may be yearning in you to be expressed. I will also facilitate the sessions to help you and the other members process difficult emotions and connect more meaningfully with one another.

This group is appropriate for adult men of all ages and all kinds of life circumstances. My bias is toward being as inclusive as possiblethat is, I encourage as much diversity as practicable in the composition of the group.

Because forming an effective group requires great care in selecting its members, you will be asked to meet with me for a get-to-know-you interview. If we agree that the group would be helpful for you, the two of us may have an additional orientation session before meeting with the whole group.

The fee per session of group therapy is $40. This fee also applies to the first interview and the orientation session, though you are only obligated to pay the fee for these sessions if you actually join the group.
