Pre-concert conversation with Jamie Bernstein and Alan Chapman begins at 7:30PM Michael Barrett, Conductor and Director The evening treats audiences to several of the composer’s works, including the lush and lyrical Songfest: A Cycle of American Poets, premiering composer John Musto’s new two-piano arrangement, as well as selections from West Side Story, On the Town, and Candide. Featured musicians include cellist Andrew Shulman, pianist Musto, and acclaimed mezzo-soprano Susanne Mentzer. Special guest Jamie Bernstein provides narration throughout this celebration of her father’s rich musical legacy. CO-PRESENTED BY SONGFEST
