Much like the multi-ingredient dessert “halo-halo,” The Filipino Show Remixed! features a richly textured cadre of performers who represent the island nation’s diverse immigrant pool in Los Angeles. Akin to the “sari-sari” (local corner store), the evening is replete with music and dance offerings that showcase both an adherence to tradition and an exploration of the new. Featuring folk artists Kayamanan Ng Lahi, Elson Trinidad and the Soul Barkada, hip hop dance group Culture Shock Los Angeles, and more. Mabuhay!
