Dear Business Owner:
The Office of Diversity & Equal Opportunity (DEO), on behalf of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority's (MARTA) General Manager, Mr. Keith T. Parker, AICP, would like to cordially invite your organization to participate in the Regional Small and Minority Business Summit on Thursday, September 26, 2013, to be held at the MARTA Headquarters Building. The purpose of this event is to provide small and minority-owned firms with a forecast of collaborations, projects, and initiatives, which will provide significant contracting opportunities throughout the Metropolitan Atlanta region. You will also be given the opportunity to match-make/network with the primes who are seeking your particular services.
We are inviting you to participate as a small and minority business owner. As such, you will participate in 1-on-1 match-making interviews with attending regional stakeholders and primes.
The Regional Summit will be conducted in two sessions on Thursday, September 26, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the MARTA Headquarters Building Atrium located at 2424 Piedmont Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30324. We ask that you indicate the services your company provides when you RSVP along with which session you plan to attend.
Please RSVP, via the Regional Summit confirmation email, at twilliams1@itsmarta.com, no later than Friday, September 13, 2013, to confirm your participation in this event. If you have questions, please contact Talmech M. Williams, Regional Summit Chairman, at (404) 848-4644.
We look forward to your participation in this event.
Sincerely,
Ferdinand L. Risco Jr., MBA
Executive Director, Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity
