Let’s face it – a lot of us dread public speaking. If the very thought of having to address a group gets you all tied up in knots, you’re definitely not alone. That’s why AWIB is hosting another workshop on public speaking! Whether you have an upcoming public speaking engagement or just want to give a presentation that leaves a lasting impression on your colleagues, this workshop will give you the tools you need to communicate more confidently, comfortably, and effectively with large groups of people.
Our experienced and inspirational instructor, Robyn Hatcher, will lead you through an intensive session where you will practice and develop techniques to improve your public speaking skills and receive constructive feedback.
Robyn is the founder and CEO of a communication and presentation-skills training company called SpeakEtc. Her recently published book Standing Ovation Presentations was highlighted in a Forbes article in September and was chosen as one of thetop ten career and self-help books for 2013.
RSVP today and join the hundreds of business owners and professionals who have overcome their fear of public speaking thanks to AWIB’s highly acclaimed Speak Up and Speak Out workshop. Public speaking doesn’t have to be scary — so empower yourself with tips and tricks that will help you ace your next public speaking engagement! Light refreshments will be served. Class size is restricted to optimize your learning experience. No payment at the door.
Admission: AWIB Members: $20 Non-members: $45
