Heather Hill Summer Camp at Park Pacifica Stables is a fun-filled day or week spent with the Heather Hill Welsh Cobs and Ponies!
Half Day: 9am-1pm Full Day: 9am -4pm
Sessions include: -horse education lessons such as grooming, tacking and saddling, -arena riding, trail riding -mounted games, un mounted demonstrations -arts & crafts -maybe hikes or a field trip. -possibly art lessons or film making!
What is available for campers who stay the full day? Our camp manager and lead instructor Salome Milstead is also an experienced art educator and film maker. She is able to provide film making opportunities and/or art lessons in addition to riding instruction. Imagine a Western where your child and horse are the stars! Or spend time learning how to paint or draw the landscape or horses! Salome will work with each group to find out how best to develop your child's hidden artist, director or actor!
Camp Size: Our camps welcome a limited number of campers! this allows each child to ride the same horse every day and throughout the week. It also allows us to customize the experience according to the group we have each week. Not many camps can say that.
