Join us for an artist's talk with Jessica Pigza, author of Bibliocraft: A Modern Crafter's Guide to Using Library Resources to Jumpstart Creative Projects.
Pigza will talk about library collections as design inspiration sources, and her processes behind creating the book. After the talk, Pigza will guide you through an embroidered cards craft, inspired by one of the craft in her book. Drawing on the design possibilities of historical watermarks used in early handmade papers, Pigza will teach you how to stitch these designs onto cards.
