Center for Domestic Peace & The Osher Marin JCC present A Free Screening of the Award-Winning Documentary Film CRIME AFTER CRIME Tuesday April 29, 2014 @ 7pm
The Osher Marin JCC and Center for Domestic Peace are proud to present the winner of the San Francisco International Film Festival Audience Choice Award and The Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, documentary film, Crime After Crime, Free to the community Tue, April 29 @ 7PM at the Osher Marin JCC.
Selected for the Sundance Film Festival in 2011, this film follows the dramatic legal battle to free Debbie Peagler, a woman imprisoned for over a quarter century due to her connection to the murder of the man who abused her.
The screening will be followed by conversation and Q&A with special guests featured attorney Joshua Safran and director Yoav Potash.

Joshua Safran, featured in the film, has become a tireless advocate for victims of domestic violence and will join in a conversation with the director, Yoav Potash directly following the showing. Joshua will also be the keynote speaker for Center for Domestic Peace's annual luncheon on May 9th. Domestic violence continues to be the most frequent violence crime in Marin County, with over 4,500 individuals seeking assistance in Marin last year.
