Are you thinking about becoming a consultant? Or are you relatively new to the consulting world and still trying to figure things out?
You know that you would like to leverage your expertise, have some control over your schedule and take on the projects you like-but you don't know how to really make all that happen.
We can help.
The new WICademy "Consulting 101" course can help you launch your own consulting business with confidence, and enhance the business you have already started.
The series, which is led by experienced consultants who have been where you are, will take you on a 10-week journey from "not knowing where to start" to taking on your first client.
Here's how it works. Interactive webinars lead by industry experts will cover information you need to be successful, like how to define your market, select a business entity, and deal with contracts and finances.
Each week, you will complete an assignment about one area of your new business, and then post it for review by a small group of your peers. Everyone in the class will be doing the same assignments. These many "sets of eyes" and varied viewpoints will help you further refine your business plan.
In turn, you will provide constructive feedback on the other participants' plans. You will learn by doing, from the perspective and expertise of the community, and from the experience of being each other's "customer."
If you participate fully in this course, you will emerge with an actionable plan for starting your business?and likely a new friend or two.
