Dance is back! PUSH Dance Company presents the inaugural season of PUSHfest - showcasing an exciting array of mixed-genre dance (modern, ballet, hip-hop, ethnic, and multi-disciplinary) at ODC Theater, September 19, 20, 21, 2014. PUSHfest is a dance festival that celebrates the diversity of dance and situates 15 mid-career and emerging choreographers in two different programs.
PUSH Dance Company recognizes the excellence of each artists by curating a group of distinguished leaders in dance from around the country and the San Francisco Bay Area. Program A: 8pm Fri Sept 19th & 4pm Sun Sept 21st includes Raissa Simpson, Randee Paufe, Nkei Oruche (Friday only), Anandha Ray, Natasha Adorlee Johnson, Martha Zepeda, and Sarah Bush (Friday only). Program B: 8pm Sat Sept 20th & 7pm Sun Sept 21st includes Katerina Wong, Hope Mohr (Sunday evening only), Chadi El-Khoury, Tanya Chianese, Ashley Gayle, Maura Townsend, Jamie Wright, and Jetta Martin.
