San Francisco's legendary literary festival returns to the Oshman Family JCC on Sunday, August 17.
Expect all the rollicking literary fun of great authors, ideas and conversation. Featuring several workshops for adults, a variety of salons on intriguing topics from memoirs and LGBT writing to international perspectives and New Yorker cartoonists, and headliner Marcia Clark, OJ Simpson's prosecutor-turned-bestselling-crime-novelist.
For kids and families, there will be storytelling, interactive puppetry and family portrait workshops, crafts in the garden and engaging guest authors from 2:00-5:00 PM. Teens are also invited to participate in a poetry slam!
After the literary salons, guests are invited to "Blues, Booze & Schmooze," a no-host social where participants and authors can continue to mix and mingle.
Festival is free to attend headline lecture is $15.
