Angel Elevator Pitch is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to network with Angels and other CXOs, to present their company and ideas, and learn first-hand how to raise early-stage capital in today's market. If you are an entrepreneur in a startup that is currently seeking capital and would like to present your best two-minute (time limit is strictly enforced) elevator pitch to a panel of Angels, you must follow the instructions below. Pitching slots go quickly, so sign up early!
To Present a Pitch
You must register in advance presenters are assigned on a first-come basis and slot availability is confirmed automatically during registration the maximum number of presenters is 10, plus 4 'no guarantee' Standby slots. Once you register additional guidelines will be sent. You must RSVP receipt. Your pitch is two minutes, timing is strictly enforced, no handouts, cards, demos or samples allowed during or immediately after your presentation.
Your pitch is followed by 4 minutes of Q&A by the panel and 4 minutes of non-rebuttal feedback from each panelist. Only one person from the company may present the (2) minute pitch to the investors and answer questions from the panel.
Entrepreneurs not yet ready to pitch or unable to reserve a pitch slot are encouraged register and attend. By listening to the pitches, the Q&A, and the critiques you learn the key points required to develop an effective pitch that investors value. You also have the opportunity to network with investors person to person at the event.
