It's our first ebook release exhibit ever! As a matter of fact, as pioneers, we are the first gallery to EVER have an ebook release exhibit! But that's just us... we are different... we are cutting edge.. we are a gallery that is not your 'normal' gallery... and this is why we are having this ebook release exhibit for the month of September 2014.
#HoodieStory is not just an ebook, it's a cultural study. We all know how hoodies are in the forefront of fashion due to the hip-hop culture.. due to famous urban hipsters such as Mark Zuckerberg and due to unfortunate racially political situations such as what Trayvon Martin was involved. We all know their stories and can read about them online.
#HoodieStory is a project that takes this pop-culture fashion icon and ties it to passionate everyday people... interviewing and publishing the stories of these passionate people to inspire passion in the reader. So be prepared to think about your life... be ready to think about what you are passionate about... and be ready to come up with a plan on how to take your passion to the next level... to make it real! So take a fashion icon (the hoodie) and combine it with passionate people's stories, you get #HoodieStory.
Come meet these passionate people and sign up to take part in this cultural study. The ebook release exhibit starts September 1, 2014 and goes through September 30, 2014. The opening party will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. for more info bit.ly/15HjIqc
