This introductory course into Grant & Proposal Writing is structured to empower the Novice Grant Writer who is unsure of how & where to begin to secure funding for organizational, program, and project needs. Dr. Hervey merges best practices for effective grant writing with the practical know-how obtained from years of writing, managing, and reviewing grants.

Workshop Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:

-Align your organization and/or program to increase readiness and improve your chances of receiving funding from multiple sources
-Identify and apply the foundations of Grant Writing (Who, What, When, Why, How) to real-life grant and proposal opportunities
-Research and capture the data that is necessary to identify and measure your need
-Enhance your understanding of writing persuasion and improve the story-telling skills that are essential to grant success.
