Workshop Synopsis: Trauma is a life-changing phenomena that has the propensity to impact the mind, body, and the soul. This workshop explores the social, physiological, and psychological disruptions of trauma and the paths that may lead to resiliency and rebirth.
Workshop Objectives: Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
-Explore the phenomena of trauma and the various hidden sources from which it may derive -Distinguish between those factors that hinder or contribute to resiliency and rebirth -Describe how developmental age, stage of life, and cognitive ability can influence one's readiness to move past their trauma -Identify cutting-edge and innovative treatment modalities and clinical interventions that may be utilized to aid those impacted by trauma -Explain the interconnectedness of healing and forgiveness in its relation to trauma -Explain the cyclical nature of trauma and its overarching impact on the physical, mental, social/emotional, and spiritual quadrants of life
