September 3-October 18, 2014
Vorres Gallery is pleased to V. Vorres Gallery Presents Atmospheric Abstraction, a Solo Exhibition of Works by Yari Ostovany.
"Ostovany's paintings convey a soaring sense of spatial indeterminacy against a subtly suggestive structure of line and form. From a distance, the paintings seem to possess a diffused luminosity, on closer examination the layered textures, the energy intrinsic to the works are revealed. The paintings create landscapes that are sensed rather than seen.
