Child Care Resources provides child care information and referral advice to families statewide, placing particular emphasis on reaching low-income families and those with special child care needs. The rest of our services are delivered in King County, which include services for children and families who are homeless, training and technical assistance to licensed early learning professionals, and assistance to low-income refugee and immigrant women seeking employment as early learning professionals. We assist early learning professionals with understanding licensing requirements and child development and provide access to technology and guidance to help improve their programs and enhance the lives of children. In the community, we work with groups who support informal child care and with advocacy groups who strive to improve the quality of early childhood care.
We believe that investing in children leads to a better future. That's why our vision is that every child has a great start in school and in life.
Our Mission Child Care Resources improves all children's access to high quality early learning experiences by engaging with families, caregivers, and communities.
Children are deeply harmed by the inequities of race and class that they experience in our early learning system. Child Care Resources is dedicated to eliminating institutional racism within our organization and our community.
