Info:
Put on your favorite high tea garden attire and join us in celebrating all the beauty and magic of the season of autumn at SF Botanical Garden!
Enjoy a lovely mid-day tea and herbal workshop celebrating the Autumnal Equinox in the exquisite setting of the Garden of Fragrance, where plants with aromatic foliage - salvia, rosemary, lemon verbena, lavender and Grecian laurel - along with many more, grow in crescent-shaped beds built of stones from a 12th century Spanish monastery.
Savor an earth-honoring tea menu of herbal tisanes accompanied by tea sandwiches, tea cakes and other fresh and savory items made with local, fresh and sustainable ingredients. As we sit at cloth-covered tables sipping tea from charming china cups and saucers, we'll discuss and explore the energy, flavor and fragrance, as well as lore, magical properties and healing of the herbs in our tea menu symbolic of the fall season.
