REDONDO BEACH, Calif. From Friday to Sunday, September 26-28, 2014, over 9,000 lobster lovers from around the world will gather in Redondo Beach for the 19th Annual Redondo Beach Lobster Festival, sponsored by the Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau. The event takes place at the Seaside Lagoon and brings a variety of delectable lobster tastings and flavorful dishes that form the centerpiece of Redondo Beach's most popular signature event.
This high-energy festival is a triumph that's earned its place as a perennial favorite of Southern Californians, because it offers "More to Sea," with more of everything - electrifying entertainment, fresh Maine lobster dinners, a Lobster Bistro and Lobster FEAST, food booths, mouth-watering dishes, exclusive tastings created only for this event, craft beer tasting, and activities for everyone. Attendees can learn stand-up paddle boarding, and just for kids is the kiddie area, with 45 foot long, 12 foot high dual slide staffed by professionals, face painting, and colorful balloon art.
This year the Festival, under the guiding hand of Signature Chef David Seawell, will debut a Lobster Bistro Package that will feature a host of mouthwatering Lobster dishes and tasty lighter fare of both traditional and contemporary dishes. Also on tap will be the Lobster FEAST headlined by lobster and rounded out with all the fixings. Those wishing to dine with family and friends can reserve a table for the Lobster FEAST of all the fixings and selection of wine choices.
For updates on ticket sales, travel packages, Lobster dinner options, activities, parking, and other information, sign up at www.LobsterFestival.com, call 310-376-6911, or email info@redondochamber.org. The event is held on the ocean at the Seaside Lagoon, 200 Portofino Way, Redondo Beach, CA 90277.
