Youth Musical Theater Company opens its tenth anniversary season with CABARET. Directed by YMTC Artistic Director, Jennifer Boesing (South Pacific, Sunday in the Park with George, Sweeney Todd) Music Direction by Tania Johnson (Always...Patsy Cline), and choreography by Pam Crane.
Step into the infamous Kit Kat Club where the Emcee, Sally Bowles, and the tantalizing Kit Kat girls can make you forget your troubles. But how long will this decadent escape protect you from the world outside? CABARET will feature a cast of 26 students, 7th grade through 12th grade, from San Francisco, Albany, Berkeley, Oakland, and El Cerrito as well as a 10-piece live band.Don't miss the Tony-award-winning musical that has just returned to Broadway, featuring such memorable hits as "Cabaret," "Don't Tell Mama" and "Maybe This Time."
