* Celebrated Bay Area Choreographer Frederick Gaudette (Director, Blue Scorpion Dance Company), premiering his new work, "Untitled," and featuring: Sachiko Kwan, Vin Eiamvuthikorn and Indie Stan * Farima Dance (sufi whirling) * The nostalgic dance styles of the George and Lee Musical Theater * The illuminative lush Raqs Sharqi Dance of JHoney Goddess
at The Alonzo King LINES Dance Center, 5th Floor, Studio One, 26 Seventh Street, on Sunday, November 9, 2014, starting at 3:30pm, $10.00 suggested donation. Featuring the lovely ballet solos and duet performances of Suzi Slavik and Umayr Hassen, the dreamesque ensemble piece, "Drifting," and a "George Gershwin Tribute," choreographed by new and exciting Bay Area choreographers Indie Stan and Sachiko Kwan, accompanied live by The Electric Light Chamber Ensemble (Lucy Hudson, Mark Newstetter and Kalilah Alston). Our scintillating dance repertoire will also include live accompaniment by resident pianists Lucy Hudson and Mike Dolman, as well as a selected variety of prerecorded music.
