Winchester Orchestra welcomes Maestro Michael Digiacinto who is also a noteworthy composer, pianist and professor, much like his predecessor, Henry Mollicone (now handing over the baton after 25+ years). Digiacinto has chosen some all-time favorites for his opening concert such as Jean Sibelius' triumphant Finlandia Wolfgang Mozart's adventurous Symphony No. 41 "Jupiter" and Dmitri Shostakovich's glorious Piano Concerto No.2, with the highly talented Amir Khosrowpour as soloist.
