Nothing stops a bullet like jobs AND education.
Please join us for a screening of "Unlikely Friends," one of the most powerful, honest, compelling, and gut-wrenching documentaries about victims of brutal crimes who, through forgiveness, unexpectedly become friends with their perpetrators.
Your ticket benefits California Institute of Integral Studies' Arc of Justice Scholarship Fund for formerly incarcerated men and women to complete their bachelor's degree and Insight Prison Project's work to foster insight and lasting behavioral change by providing rehabilitative tools to prisoners in California correctional systems.
"Unlikely Friends" documents relationships for most of us are unfathomable. These connections open our thinking to new possibilities of how to transform a broken system that's ensconced in punishment and retribution to one of restorative justice that's based in humanity.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion with people who have been affected by crimes, and experts in the field of Restorative Justice. Ticket options include VIP, sponsor a ticket, general admission, and student discount.
