This event screams for Halloween. The 5th Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon, co-chaired by Tara Fowler and Carrie Follett of San Carlos, will consist of lunch and fashions provided by Patrick James of Town & Country and J.Jill of Hillsdale Mall. Our guest Stylist will be jewelry designer to the stars Jackie Jones. All proceeds benefit Kainos Home and Training Center's new Vocational Building.
Kainos Executive Director, Andy Frisch, says "each year this event gets better and better and that it gives Kainos an opportunity to showcase its clients in a glamourous setting."
About our Masters of Ceremonies: The dynamic duo of Alyn Beals and Daniela Gasparini-Beals will emcee this prestigious event. Daniela former Mayor of Redwood City and host on Pen-TV has been a strong advocate for Kainos over the years raising funds, sponsoring clients and brining new friends to the organization.
Auctioneer: Frank Bizzaro, Bay Area legend, will auction Halloween witch hats with no tricks just treats. Auction items include 4 tickets to a 49er game at the new Levi Stadium, Trips to New York and Lake Tahoe, Jewels, dining out, spas whatever your heart desires. The Opportunity Drawing will deliver wonderful surprises too!
About Kainos Home and Training Center: Kainos Home and Training Center was founded in 1974 to serve adults with developmental disabilities. Kainos is a Greek word meaning "a new beginning". Presently, we serve over 125 adults, who live in Southern San Mateo and Northern Santa Clara Counties. Kainos is located in Redwood City. Our programs and services have been specifically developed to teach self-sufficiency and independence with the mission of enabling each individual we serve to maximize his or her potential while becoming active, contributing integrated members of the community.
