San Francisco photographer Jason Winshell is exhibiting a selection of large-format prints of street photography from his recently published book, "STREET," Saturday, October 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Shaping San Francisco, 518 Valencia St. (near 16th). The show coincides with a free public talk, "San Francisco's Housing Wars 2014," with James Tracy and his new book "Dispatches Against Displacement," Erin McElroy of the Anti-Eviction Mapping Project and Maria Zamudio of Causa Justa.
The public talk will be held Wednesday, October 29 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the same location. The talk will examine decades of displacement and eviction that have reached another crescendo during 2013-14.
