Palestinian poet DEEMA K. SHEHABI is the award-winning author of Thirteen Departures from the Moon (2011) and co-author with Marilyn Hacker of Diaspo/Renga (2014).
Iranian poet PERSIS KARIM is professor of English and Comparative Literature at San Jose State University. She has edited numerous articles on literature of the Iranian diaspora plus three anthologies, including Tremors: New Fiction by Iranian American Writers.
Pakistani poet SHADAB ZEEST HASHMI is the author of Kohl & Chalk and Baker of Tarifa, which won the San Diego Book Award for poetry and she recently won the Nazim Hikmet Poetry Prize.
