With two CD's having climbed high in the jazz and world charts, international tours and live appearances on the BBC. This DC area band are flying high. Their blend of jazz, bossa nova and chanson, performed in multiple languages is winning the band fans and critical acclaim around the globe.
Annapolis, as the home of Charlie and Joe Byrd, has a lot of love for the music of Veronneau. The band have been instrumental in shining the spotlight on these two local musicians through their Jazz Samba Project CD release which celebrated the 50th anniversary of Charlie Byrd and Stan Getz's milestone album. The band have also produced a documentary about the pivotal role of Jazz Samba in popularizing bossa nova and are working on a musical theater piece about the birth of bossa nova which will be staged in February 2015
