Outward Bound California's 2nd annual rappelling fundraiser is here!
On March 19th and 20th you have the opportunity to go "Over the Edge" of the roof of the Hyatt Regency at 5 Embarcadero Center. Participants will raise funds for the experience of a lifetime, a free-hanging rappel off a 23-story building in San Francisco's downtown corporate hub. Through the City Skyline Challenge, Outward Bound California will raise over a quarter of a million dollars to dramatically increase the number of low-income students we serve throughout California.
Want to see a unique side of San Francisco while helping raise money for deserving teens? This is the event for you! There are spots available ($1600 min can be crowd-funded or given outright)
Rappelling not your thing? Then just come check out the spectacle! SF Rec and Park will be setting up a climbing wall, come learn about Outward Bound California, and enjoy the party! You could win a FREE rappel by entering in our raffle in our Landing Zone on Market Street!
The Giant's mascot Lou Seal will be rappelling alongside the A's mascot, Stomper, and KNBR's Kate Scott will be joining the fun too! Come see Senator Mark Leno rappel for a second year and cheer on other celebrities and community members as they descend to Market Street!
Rappelling happens from 1-5pm on Thursday 3/19 and from 9-6pm on Friday 2/20! There's no better way to start your weekend than with an adventure like no-other!
