April 11-12, 2015: 8pm on April 11 4pm & 7pm on April 12
ODC's Pilot 65: Cruising Altitude portrays the vibrant diversity of the Bay Area dance scene - everything from classical to contemporary, melding theatricality, live music, film, text and even a fashion show runway. The evening features work by Marika Brussel, Eric Garcia & Kat Cole (detour dance), Sebastian Grubb, Emma Jaster, Esmeralda Kundanis-Grow, and Lauren Simpson. Join us for a post-show reception after our opening show on April 11.
Continuing its long tradition of bringing Bay Area audiences innovative and provocative new work, Pilot has been a fixture in the Bay Area dance scene since 1990. Through a rigorous 11-week session, six selected artists are given mentorship in choreography, as well as vital aspects of self-production in a communal atmosphere. Pilot has long been recognized as an artistic incubator for up and coming choreographic talent in the Bay Area.
