Info:
Discover the worlds of shadow puppetry and music with Daniel Barash of THE SHADOW PUPPET WORKSHOP. In this hands-on program celebrating Yom Ha'atzmaut, Israel's Independence Day, Daniel will first introduce the art of shadow puppetry, and share some PJ Library books about Israel. Families will then be invited to make their very own shadow puppets inspired by the land of Israel. Finally, participants will parade their puppets behind the screen as Daniel accompanies them with Israeli songs on the ukulele!
Sponsored by Temple Isaiah, PJ Library, Gan Ilan Preschool, Contra Costa Jewish Day School and the Jewish Federation of the East Bay. Free event. Contact Michelle to RSVP and for more information: Michelle@jfed.org.
