Gallimaufry performs music about Springtime, May, and the cycles of the seasons incorporating medieval, Renaissance, Italian, & French composers such as Orlando di Lasso, Francesco Landini, Clement Jannequin as well as some traditional English music.
One of the key pieces is Le Chant des Oyseaux (the song of the birds) by Jannequin, with Renaissance French bird sound-effects.
Gallimaufry has 25 chorus members alongside three instrumentalists - Shira Kammen, Michelle Levy, and percussionist Peter Maund.
The concert will be without intermission, festive, fun, and heartfelt!
