The California Family Rights Act amended regulations go into effect July 1, 2015, providing a number of helpful clarifications and some continued challenges. This webinar will cover the significant changes, including clarifications to the eligibility standards for taking a CFRA-protected leave, revisions to the medical certification form and processes, changes to the notice requirements, clarifications regarding intermittent leave, revisions to the use of paid time off during a CFRA leave, as well as updates on the interaction between pregnancy disability and CFRA leave. Practical implications and policy revisions will also be covered.
