'Social Media for Small Businesses' is an accelerated three-hour event that serves as a neutral, educational, and learning platform for entrepreneurs. More than 150 diverse small business owners will assemble at City Council Chambers in Oakland to learn and discuss how to harness the power of social media marketing.
Presented by Oakland Digital, a community-building organization working to bridge the digital literacy and opportunity divide, the event will include presentations by experts and thought leaders from Twitter, Square, Google, and LinkedIn. Special guest speakers include Mayor Libby Schaaf and Oakland Digital Executive Director Shaun Tai.
